Internships during the semester

OMICRON offers many opportunities for internships during the year. These usually last from two months to one year. In addition to mandatory internships, internship opportunities serve as a bridge between different stages of life, e.g., during the transition from high school to university or as a career change.

Summer Internships

A summer internship at OMICRON offers an intensive work and learning experience during vacation. Students can focus on a specific area of work for a limited period (between four and eight weeks) and gain deeper insight into projects and our corporate culture. Internships are usually full-time positions, and interns can also attend special events during their time at OMICRON.

Theses

Students or pupils can write their thesis for their diploma, bachelor's, or master's degree in one of OMICRON's technical fields. They can work on implementing ideas and engaging in concrete projects in an innovative environment while writing their thesis during an internship. HTL students can also work on their diploma thesis. Dual Study Program in cooperation with the Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences

The dual study program for Electronics & Information Technology at the Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences (FHV) lasts six semesters, including practical phases that alternate every three months. From the third semester onwards, students apply their knowledge with us, getting to know different areas of the company and gaining valuable work experience.

Advanced training course at HTL Rankweil

The three-year Electronics & Computer Engineering course at the HTL Rankweil offers students an education that includes a 50% employment opportunity at OMICRON. Several students per year have the chance to expand their theoretical knowledge in various work areas. A special emphasis is placed on hardware, software and IT.

Part-time students

Part-time employment at OMICRON allows students to gain practical experience during their studies. This type of employment offers flexible working hours that can be adapted to a student's schedule.
